Glamorous model and makeup Wednesday, Jun 2 2010

I finally got some images from a shoot I did a few months ago. I was excited to work with photographer Dustin Rowley and one of my favorite models, Morayma. We had styling done by the owner of the Gilded Closet and there was a hair stylist there which I always appreciate. 🙂

I had fun with this shoot as I got to play and do a little bit more glamorous makeup.   I tend to only get to do beauty makeup so I always appreciate the chance to stretch myself and do something new or different.

Here are a few shots…

A few of these will be used in a charity event for Wyden and Kennedy in July. I’m pretty excited to be featured in that!

A 2nd shoot – more beauty – was just done and images are forthcoming!!!!

The first part of the shoot with Brandon Witzel was with Miss Megan in pointe shoes and a nice dress, we thought we’d dirty her up for 2nd half of the shoot.  From this part of the shoots conception through its execution, the concept changed quite a bit.  The final results were not what I had intended but there were some great shots!!!

Kyle Goldie, Bronze Body Paint, and a day to remember… Friday, Mar 5 2010

I went up to Seattle a few weeks ago to work with photographer Kyle Goldie.  I had only been bugging him to work together for 6+ months and I was excited to finally have the opportunity to make it happen.  🙂

Kyle decided on doing a body shoot so we picked a model, I purchased a bunch of bronze body paint, we loaded up and trekked North for a day of fun and photos.  The body paint was a Mehron product and was better than the Kryolan I had purchased a few days earlier.  It was thicker but it also dried faster.  The benefits is that is takes less time and you don’t have to do layers.  The bad part is that it dries fast and can get streaky and its really hard to do a 2nd layer as the first layer lifts off.

We had a few surprises and setback but I think we got a couple of good shots…
